Digital Media Manager - Digital Investment

Location: Chicago, Illinois
Fusion92 is looking to fill a full-time Media Manager - Digital Investment position. This role requires a portfolio of skills to deliver on all media planning and buying related projects. These projects include, but are not limited to, media plan development, stewardship and negotiation. This role will report to the Media Director.  The position is located in Chicago-River North. 

  • Develops creative, innovative approaches to strategically reach client target audiences 
  • Manages the budget/schedule/production/implementation of media campaigns
  • Manages the RFP/IO process for ongoing campaigns and new campaign launches
  • Leads consistent negotiations with vendors and publishers to get best price point for clients
  • Leads ongoing optimizations with vendors on a daily/weekly schedule to ensure that all
  • media channels are hitting goals and delivering what has been contracted
  • Assess media performance to determine if campaign is meeting objectives
  • Handles client requests as it pertains to budget, plan changes, alternate goals, etc.
  • Possess the ability to speak to rationale behind the plan, how each channel works together, etc.
  • Thorough knowledge of the existing media landscape, best practices and active research of new opportunities
  • Provides day to day communication with internal team and client on state of current campaigns
  • Leads dialogue in internal team meetings and to client on how each channel is performing in relation to client goals

  • 2+ years experience working in a marketing function
  • Experience handling/planning/buying digital media
  • Experience with direct response clients and/or clients with focus on CPA/CPL metrics
  • Experience with managing/optimizing programmatic buying
  • BA in media, marketing or business-related field preferred
  • Experience in financial industry strongly preferred
  • Experience with DoubleClick including Planning, Trafficking and Reporting & Attribution tools
  • Advanced Microsoft Office experience
