HR Director

Job Summary:
Fusion92 is a cutting edge digital marketing agency located in beautiful River North. We are seeking to hire a well rounded HR Director with a minimum of 8 years of manager or director level HR generalist experience and the ability to move successfully between tactical and strategic. This position reports to the President and manages one full-time HR staff member. 70 employees and fast-growth.  Key Responsibilities include:
  • Oversight for all HR related disciplines including employee relations, compensation and benefits, HRIS and an applicant tracking system (ATS), performance management, new employee orientation and training, compliance with federal and state employment laws and company policies, and talent acquisition        
  • Primary strategic partner to the business, developing HR strategies, needs assessments and resulting HR solutions to enable the business to achieve their goals    
  • Maintaining awareness of changing employment laws, practices, and trends and propose necessary changes to policies and practices as needed     
  • Driving multiple activities in support of the CEO, President, and Management Team   
  • Manage one full time HR Generalist
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; additional degrees in related field a plus; minimum 8 years of broad HR experience either as an HR Manager or HR Director level  
  • Previous agency or professional services experience 
  • Superior collaboration and communication skills with an executive presence and sound judgement
  • Strong planning, organizational and change management skills; also, conflict management abilities  
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing Human Resource systems and programs
  • Demonstrated ability to support a fast-growing company with an entrepreneurial spirit; must be comfortable in a creative, flexible (as opposed to highly structured) environment. 
  • Agency experienced strongly preferred
  • Proven experience in implementing creative programs to enhance the company culture and overall employee experience and satisfaction
