Sr Media Manager - Paid Social

JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Media Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of paid social campaigns.  This includes developing, managing, and reporting on social advertising strategies supporting various media plans.  This person collaborates with the media planning/buying discipline to bring innovative strategies and solutions to clients.   
 
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage day-to-day activities and workflow of social media campaigns across accounts
  • Develop creative, innovative approaches to strategically reach target audiences and hit success metrics​
  • Assess media performance to determine whether campaign is meeting client objectives​
  • Work with media disciplines to ensure all social media campaigns are seamlessly executed
  • Set strategic principles and roadmaps for client social initiatives, based on objectives
  • Grow the agency social media business through new business wins and/or organic growth
  • Develop best practices/POV’s on social media practices
  • Manage vendor relationships across all social media platofrms
  • Responsibility for all social media optimizations across plans
  • Understanding of multi-channel optimization best practices
  • Responsible for execution and final QA of approved plan into social platforms, including all campaign components prior to launch (dayparting, bids, budget, targeting parameters)
  • Creation and delivery of client presentations
  • Collaboration with reporting discipline to craft insights and observations
  • Development and recommendation of optimizations and/or testing plans
  • Responsible for recommending campaign adjustments based on performance trends
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years’ of paid social media experience
  • Master of paid social platforms with Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, and Snapchat that includes a solid understanding of each platform’s core features, as well as a technical understanding of each network’s advertising capabilities
  • Proficiency with Twitter Adgroups bulk editor, Facebook Business Manager and Power Editor, including the ability to place campaigns, manage delivery and budgets, and analyze results
  • Have a passion for social media, be an active user, and have a passion to stay in the loop on the latest social media trends, capabilities and platforms
  • Experience using doubleclick (ad-server) for tracking purposes, experience using dynamic creative on paid social channels
  • Experience working with a social SAS (4C) highly preferred
  • Have strong self-management and organizational skills being able to manage multiple projects at once utilizing internal tools
  • Experience handling marketing budgets and developing insights based on campaign results
  • Self-motivated, well-organized and assertive, with strong analytical and deductive skills
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills for effective client relations
